Versions
Choose from these versions:- Standard version — 82MB. The browser in this version has KioskCD's start page and our selected link buttons. Download it (below) and make your own CD, or order a ready-to-use CD from a distributor.
- A Standard Non-Java version (about 60MB), which will run better on PCs with less memory. This version is recommended if your PC has less than 128MB of RAM. Download below or order from a distributor.
- Make your own customized version! You can choose your own home page, NIC, toolbar buttons, proxy server, keyboard layout, etc., etc. —even use a config file on a web server somewhere else. Download a Standard ISO image file and the free Customization kit (for Linux or Windows). Edit the config file in the kit, then apply your config file to the ISO image, using the special program in the kit (binary and source supplied). Finally, burn the customized ISO to CD.
Downloads
Download the ISO file (and optional Customization kit), burn it to a CDR using an ISO burner, and boot your PC with it. It's that simple!
Note: the file must be burned as an ISO image to the CDR. (Dragging the ISO file to the CDR's file window, as you would a music file or document, will probably not result in a bootable CD.) In Linux, burn it to a CD using cdrecord. For Windows, we recommend the free BurnCDCC utility from TeraByte Unlimited. Very easy to use.
The latest version of KioskCD is v2.8 (11/2005).

v2.7, August 2005 Added static IPs, idle timeout, skip NTP set, bypass proxy for certain domains/IPs, and hosts file features. Updated Firefox to v1.0.5.
